Not a day after the first news in 5 months, I had a break through. The Webcam Beta uses DirectX video device 0 which means, not only should it support webcam on any Windows platform running .NET Framework, but it should also support all DirectX compatible camera drivers.

The images are stored on the webpage and available through the new "Cam" tab, that appeard when you log in.

Also the Alert settings that was missing in the new design are now back. I'm very sorry for any problems this might have caused.
