First of all we apologies for the inconvenience of this message. We were faced with two options:
1. Only send the first newsletter after the option of signing up was declared on the page, and then wait for everyone to decide and choose whether they wanted to receive the newsletter.
2. Sign up all users and provide an easy way of unsubscribing and take all the possible blame of spamming.
The first option seems like the right choice at first, but after considering that many users might not even be aware of all that has been going on here the last 2 months, then it seems more and more right to chose option 2 and at least deliver a minimum of information to all of our users.
So this newsletter is currently received by everyone, and let it be assured, that we will not contact any unsubscribed users ever again, unless it concerns the very existence of IPSneak.net.
More news will follow in the coming days, as a lot of things are getting better and better by the minute.
Things to come in the near future will concern subjects such as: Open source, Creative Commons Licensing, User statistics, Advanced Log, Ajax, Encryption and SSL, public business plan and much more... Sounds interesting? I thought so :)
Lastly I would personally like to encourage everyone to use the new options for sharing, bookmarking, digging and generally promoting IP Sneak. Your continued support is the very foundation of this company, without our users, we are nothing.
